Privacypolicy

Zira Scents by Skin Byoode ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email, phone number and delivery address.
• Order details: products purchased, amounts and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
• Account data if you create an account, including your wishlist.
• Reviews, messages and photos you choose to submit.
• Basic technical data (device, pages visited) through cookies and, where enabled, analytics.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

• Contract — to process orders, arrange delivery and provide gift cards.
• Consent — for marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link.
• Legitimate interests — to prevent fraud, keep our site secure and improve our service.
• Legal obligation — to keep financial records as required by law.

Sharing

We share data only with providers who help us operate: our payment providers (Monnify and Squad), our email provider (Resend), delivery partners and hosting. They may process data only on our instructions. Where data is transferred outside Nigeria, we rely on safeguards permitted by the NDPA.

How long we keep it

Order and financial records are kept for up to 6 years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the NDPA you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent and request data portability. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). To exercise a right, email skinbyoodeaesthetics@gmail.com; we respond within 30 days.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us immediately if you suspect misuse.
